Chapter One

Many people want to know: "Is there a 'real' Meggie Lou?" Yes, there is!

The first owner of the store had two boys and a daughter named Megan. Megan's mom always called her "Meggie Lou", so when Mom wanted to open a store, it seemed natural to want to name the store after her little girl.

When the store was ready to open, mom brought all her kids to see the store. They saw the great big sign on the window "Meggie Lou" and the boys asked: "Looks great, Mom, but what about us?"

So Mom added "and brothers, too!"

Chapter Two

When Megan was all grown up, her mother sold the store to one of Meggie Lou & brothers, too! best customers. The new owner took over in October 2007 and since that time has made a lot of changes to the store.
